The 12 Gifts of Christian Theology
Launching December 14th (Hanukkah) through December 25th (Christmas)
Every winter, as the days shorten and the air goes still, I feel the urge to slow down and take stock of the year that has passed. This season from Hanukkah through Advent to Christmas has always held a certain gravity. Different traditions, but a shared instinct: keep light alive in the darkest stretch of the calendar. Preserve it. Guard it. Carry it forward.
This year, I’m using that rhythm as the backdrop for a project I’ve been working on quietly. Over the past few months, I’ve been reading twelve of the great Christian theologians who shaped the last two thousand years of Western thought. Some wrote in peace. Some wrote in exile. Some wrote in fear. All of them were wrestling with questions we still face today.
Who am I becoming?
What does courage look like?
Why do I feel restless even when life is stable?
How do I make sense of my desires?
How do I build an inner life that can survive distraction and doubt?
The more I read, the more I realized these thinkers weren’t writing for their own age alone. Their words break through the centuries. They speak with a clarity that feels unnervingly modern. And I wanted to take what I’m learning and turn it into something structured, something readers can walk through with me.
So, beginning December 14, the first day of Hanukkah, I’ll be launching a new series called “The 12 Gifts of Christian Theology”. Each day will focus on one theologian and one “gift” they gave the world, a moral insight or spiritual value that still matters for anyone trying to live with purpose.
Paul, Augustine, Aquinas, Teresa of Ávila, C. S. Lewis to name a few…
These won’t be academic essays. They’re short, six-paragraph reflections, each drawn from the research I’m doing in real time. Think of them as small lights, one each morning, meant to carry you from Hanukkah to Christmas, from candle to candle, from reflection to renewal.
The full series will be available exclusively to paid subscribers. That’s where I’ll share my notes, the ideas that surprised me, the questions these thinkers force me to confront, and how their insights are shaping the way I want to enter the new year.
Because this series is meant to be a doorway into the new year, a way to replace vague resolutions with real inner work, I am offering a 15% annual discount. And I want anyone who feels drawn to this journey to have an easy way to step into it.
This is the season where people reach for meaning. This series is my way of offering it. And the discount is simply an invitation: if you want depth, clarity, and a more intentional path into 2026, this is the moment to join.
The 15% off annual subscription is available until January 1, 2026.
The first gift arrives on December 14.
The final one arrives on Christmas Day.
